Mongolian Stock Exchange (MSE) has revised and approved the existing "Regulation on Information Disclosure by Issuers of Securities" to improve the transparency of information provided by issuers, increase the types of information shared, enhance investor protection, and simplify the process of delivering information to the public. The updated regulation was adjusted to comply with relevant laws and aims to make the information delivery process quicker and more efficient.
On October 4, 2024, the MSE Board of Directors passed a resolution (No. 47) to approve the updated regulation, which was then officially endorsed by the Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Commission in a directive (No. 409) dated November 1, 2024, and the regulation was made effective from that date.
The revised "Regulation on Information Disclosure by Issuers of Securities" now includes new provisions requiring issuers to disclose information that could impact the securities price in a timely and transparent manner, as well as the requirement for such information to be provided in English. Additionally, new guidelines were added for issuers on delivering relevant information to the public to assist citizens and investors in making informed investment decisions.
