The management team of the Mongolian Stock Exchange welcomed Dr. Mihali Patai, Vice President of the Central Bank of Hungary (Magyar Nemzeti Bank), Member of the Monetary Policy Council, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Budapest Stock Exchange. During the meeting, both parties presented information on the current situation and future trends of the stock market, and also exchanged opinions on opportunities for cooperation.
The origin and development of the stock market in Hungary can be traced back to the 1860s, and when the country approved the Securities Act in 1990, the principles of the modern stock market were laid, and the Budapest Stock Exchange was reorganized. In other words, during the meeting Mr. Mihaly Patai highlighted that there are many similarities in the modern history of the capital markets of Hungary and Mongolia, so we will be open to further cooperation and exchange of experience.
